WOW!!! On my visit to New York on Monday, I really realized how awful people dressed in the Midwest! Maybe it's just everyone is 10 times heavier in the Midwest, or maybe it's because all of the major fashion designers are in NY and LA. Come to Chicago! Everyone had the coolest high leather boots on with their jeans tucked into the bottom. I wanted to buy a pair but the pair I wanted were 500 dollars and I was not about to plunk down my credit card when here in the Midwest they would be ruined in 5 minutes once I walked outside in the the wonderful salt filled streets. Hopefully, they will still be in style next year when I won't be living here anymore. Everyone seemed so much taller there too. I am thinking it is because people are not scared to wear heals there. Walking the streets for 5th Avenue everyone looked so chic. Anyways, I went into Bergdorf Goodman's. OMG the most amazing store ever! Every adorable dress was in my size and seemed to be calling my name. But I never realized why the stores put the spring clothes out so early when I still need boots and a snow suit to go outside? Yes, odd. The dresses were too cute for words though. Every pattern, like floral, plain, striped, and eyelet hung on the racks. I almost opened a new credit card just do I could buy a couple dresses. But then I figured that by the time I could actually wear the dresses would be the end of May and by then they would be on sale down a couple hundred dollars. AHHH why can't I be a billionaire? ~kmf
